NOT READY FOR THE GRAVE / academic reader ... There is no way to hold the newspaper and magazine articles and chapter 500-750 PDF of the book represent more than 50% of my reading. The controls are on both sides, and backed by knobby rubber previous models, slides on flat surfaces.
You can not upgrade to more memory, and if the battery goes bad, Amazon wants to send it back to them for replacement, I do not know about you, but can not take two days off from reading my calendar without serious wreck of my semester, much less the two weeks takes. There turn this should be a way for the owner to self-organize folders, pages or tags to handle the large number of PDF files and books I have on hand.
Having said all this, it is incredibly close to what you need. My late for a refund after a week. The frustration of an "almost" good tool was too much to bear. I will wait another year for someone to believe that the player I need, instead of settling for "almost ...."
Kindle DX Could really be better

The main reason for upgrading from one Kindle to
Kindle DX for compatibility with PDF. I must say that the implementation of PDF support is sad. Search results on any visits to the library of PDF content. The content page of a PDF file is useless. It appears that Amazon has simply been in a hurry to make a "yes, we can do" box on the list of features. Also, what happened to the RTF support? Have you ever made, I think.
And really, you'd think that Amazon is now passing through his mind that we FOLDERS! Come on guys, how bloody hard can it be? You just stopped listening to your customers?
I went back and forth IPAD vs Kindle. I chose Kindle, and now have pain of regret.
